Why Build Using the SCIP System?

Structural Concrete Insulated Panels (SCIPs) are prefabricated lightweight structural sections for all building needs.

•  Sections consist of an EPS (Expanded PolyStyrene) core that is sandwiched between two layers of galvanized high strength steel welded wire mesh.
•  A galvanized steel connector wire is pierced through the EPS core and welded to each of the outer galvanized steel welded wire mesh layers.
• The panels are covered in the field with a high strength cement plaster/mortar.

• Foundation: concrete slab-on-grade, SCIP, or elevated on concrete, steel, or wood pilings
• Roofing: wood, steel or SCIP structure with almost any type of elastomeric, shingle, steel, TPO, etc covering
• Up to 4 stories tall without the need for additional steel or concrete reinforcement
• Almost any geometric shapes, overhangs & curves are possible
• Any type of exterior & interior finish can be achieved
